Ok, so the whole 365 days of progress reporting on goals isn't going anywhere. Nice idea, but oh well. I hope you are having more luck with keeping up with your progress.
On the bright side, I still haven't had a cigarette in all of 2013. One more week of patches ( down to 7mg ) and I'm done.
So I'm looking at my photo over here and wonder if you noticed, when I smile big like that, my mustache and nose look like stretched out version of my logo? Weird huh?
I think I said enough about my desire to produce more images for now. I have one rendering in the background while I type this. I have been on it all week, because I keep tweaking it but the lighting still needs work. Today is Sunday. I believe you will get to see it today no matter what. If it isn't good enough to suit me then we'll call it one of my learning experiences.

So this is actually day 6 but I like to start at the beginning. I originally shared the below in another post in the forums but I'm moving it here for all.
In the past I'm very reticent about sharing my goals. I don't like the 'dream on buddy' responses or the dismissively patronizing "That's nice" ones, or worse, stating them and then failing But this feels like a safe space ( that feels like such a new-agey, hippie phrase, "safe space" ) so here goes . .
I see your art and I know you are trying. I am too. I don’t ask for a lot of feedback on how to improve my images because all too often, I am already painfully aware of the things I’ve done or have failed to achieve. Maybe you feel the same way. I at least allow for that so, if I see your shadows are way off, or even just see you need some, or see that your texture is too stretched or some other technical aspect is obviously wrong, I probably won’t say anything unless you ask, but I see so

I just wanted you to know how much I admire you. I think you are one of the nicest people to ever draw a breath of air. You're an asset to this community, and must certainly be a credit to your own. You're the kind of person I like to be around, because every time I'm around you I feel inspired and motivated to communicate more, and post better pictures and more often too. I wish I could see you everyday, because you motivate me to be my best self. That's all I wanted to say. I look
